Labor Day Weekend is a beautiful time in upstate NY. The river is cool and sparkling, the landscape is lush, with just the slightest hint that summer is waning. Thoughts turn to the demands of a new season, and perhaps you, like many of us, are feeling stressed by changes beyond your control. This is time for YOU to get in tune with yourself. On this retreat I will help you to create the habit of finding and enjoying your vitality and flow through my simple method of integrating yoga, art and intention. When you allow yourself to follow your intuition you effortlessly know your actions are effective. We will practice living with pleasure. When live with pleasure we can make things happen. We live with pleasure when we do what we do with grace and integrity.

Here is the schedule I have planned:
4:00-7:00 arrival
7:30 Cookout by the river (weather permitting) followed by Welcome Ceremony
8:30 – 9:00 morning meditation
9:00 -10:00 breakfast
10:00 -1:00 yoga and art workshop “Grounding and gratitude”
1:00-1:30 pick up packed lunch
1:30-4:30 on your own: have lunch on the river, on a hike or on a porch!  Free time for canoeing, hiking, wandering, napping, drawing….(and collecting natural materials for tomorrow’s workshop!)
4:30-5:30 Yoga Nidra/ guided relaxation “Finding Flow”
7:00 group dinner
8:30-9:00 morning mediation
9:00-10:00 breakfast
10-1:00 Yoga and art workshop “Honor Nature, Honor Self”
1:00-1:30 pick up lunch
1:30- 2:30 free time
2:30-5:30 Yoga and art workshop “Finding my Inner Smile”
6:30 group dinner
8:00 fire ceremony by the river (weather permitting)
8:00-9:00 breakfast
9:30-11:30 yoga, meditation and art workshop “Living with Pleasure”
Noon: departure


What to bring:
Yoga mat (optional, we have some on hand)
Water bottle
Light weight backpack
Comfortable clothes/yoga clothes, walking shoes, socks, jeans and sweatshirt (it can be chilly at night)
Apron or smock if desired
An open mind: no yoga or art experience is necessary!

$395 per person
includes all meals and materials.

This six-week class is for couples only! We will focus on partner poses, playfully exploring yoga together.  15 minutes at the end will be devoted to artistic expression. Enhance your relationship with couples yoga. All levels are welcome. Space is limited so please register today! Wednesday evenings, September 14 through Oct 19, 7:00-8:30 pm. $240 per couple.
